Restorative dentistry
We can create beautiful restorations at our practice
Teeth can become damaged for a number of reasons, whether through tooth decay or through injury. We offer a number of different restorative treatments at Hitchin, helping you to smile again with confidence.
CEREC restorations
CEREC stands for Ceramic Reconstruction. We can create crowns, inlays, onlays and bridges at our practice, using 3D scanning and milling technology, so there is no need for impressions. You can walk away with a newly repaired tooth on the same day.
White fillings
We offer tooth-coloured fillings to repair cavities. Composite fillings can replace your metal fillings for a more cosmetic finish.
Crowns
Restore your smile with a custom-made crown. Crowns fit over your tooth and are made to match your natural teeth.
Bridges
Replace a missing tooth with a secure and natural-looking solution. Bridges use the teeth on either side of the gap to support the bridge.
Dentures
We offer partial dentures for a few missing teeth and complete dentures to replace a full arch.

Dental implants
Dental implants are a long-lasting solution to missing teeth and can also provide increased stability to a new or existing denture. They consist of tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed in the jawbone to act as substitute tooth roots. Once these metal posts have fused with the jawbone and healed, they are used as supports for replacement teeth.
